The Goat & Baker

The Goat (Alison, owner of Two Old Goats on Church Street) and Baker (Laura, owner of Caked, a gluten-free cake business on Abbey Street) have joined forces to create a catering company providing fresh, made-from-scratch, food for your event.

Whether it’s a birthday party, wedding celebration, family gathering or business event, The Goat & Baker can tailor their menu for you and your guests. They can come to your venue and lay out a delicious grazing table or bring their beautiful, converted horse trailer to serve from.

‘Setting up a catering business together was a natural progression after sharing a kitchen and working really well together,’ explains Alison.

‘Our event food includes savoury and sweet treats, so it made sense to combine our talents and to provide it all,’ continues Laura, ‘We both believe in full of flavour, fresh, in-season food and we cater for dietary requirements such as vegan and gluten-free – which is so important.’

As well as providing event catering, you will also find The Goat & Baker in their horse trailer every Friday evening at The Admiral Nelson pub, Nelson Street, Market Harborough, 5pm – 8pm with their new weekly curry night.
