In a quiet corner just off the A6, something exciting is happening. Tucked inside Harborough Innovation Centre (HIC), a sleek new Podcast & Content Studio is giving local people a chance to step up to the mic — and be heard.
With high-spec recording equipment, polished video lighting and editing tools that rival professional production houses, the studio has been carefully designed for one purpose: to make content creation simple, accessible and full of potential. ‘It’s not just about having a space to record,’ explains Carly Rose, HIC Operations Manager. ‘It’s about giving people in our community the means to share their voice — whether that’s a business podcast, a student project or a heartfelt story from someone who never thought they’d be behind a microphone.’ BIG IDEAS, LOCAL REACH Since opening its doors, the studio has already sparked interest from across the district — from business owners and educators to community groups and curious creatives. The timing couldn’t be better. With podcasting now one of the fastest-growing forms of media and livestreaming, no longer reserved for tech giants, people everywhere are seeking ways to reach audiences. And now, Harborough has a launchpad of its own. Booking officially opens on 1st July, 2025. Early feedback has been very positive praising the studio’s crisp sound quality, ease of use, and relaxed, supportive atmosphere.
